Wood Art collection

The Museum for Art in Wood’s permanent collection consists of nearly 1,500 objects from around the world. It represents a wide range of approaches, including sculpture, woodturning, studio design, works on paper, and new media. Established to interpret and present the history and evolution of wood turning from an industrial craft into a contemporary art form, the collection has broadened its purview to encompass the study of contemporary art, craft, and design in the material of wood. The Museum’s collection is open to researchers, students, and the general public. You can view a selection of Collection Artwork below.
